Hello Castle Dwellers...

I've had E.A. Poe on my mind of late, and decided to do another
Tarot challenge with him(and his stories) as inspiration.

There are so many rich imaginings in both his life and
his works one can easily find a card to illustrate using
Poe as an inspiration. Without further ado, here are the details:

:bulletblue: For this challenge ANY card from the Tarot is allowed.
If you are drawn to one of the Minors-you are free to choose it.

:bulletblue: There MUST be elements or background
imagery that relate to either the man himself or one of his stories.

:bulletblue: Include in your description the story or
the related details to Poe's life, that inspired your work.

:bulletblue: The "vibe" of your card needs to come across as "story"
Think dark, Gothic, eery as the man's stories most all were.

:bulletblue: you must include the card's numerical
numbering or word description.

:bulletblue: Any media accepted

:bulletblue: Size requirement is 5x7 (portrait view)

:bulletblue:Frame or border is suggested but not required

:bulletblue: Due date is end of day August 31st

Here are a few examples of work that I hope will inspire
(some are not Tarot but you'll get the idea anyway).

The Hermit Tarot Card by Reddawgi       The REAL Star by Reddawgi     Nevermore by Reddawgi

Poe Tarot Cards by P-JoArt         Poe Tarot -- The Hierophant by 7rob7     Literature Tarot -- The Tower by 7rob7

There WILL be prizes! Either points, artwork or exclusive stock.

OK, I think this covers it all. If we have a healthy
participation number, I'll organize similar challenges
for other cards-so tell your friends and groups
you have influence in about our game. :)

And now for the winners of the "
Steampunk Meets Penny Dreadful" challenge:

"The Hierophant"

The Hierophant V by amethystmstock
I particularly enjoyed seeing Frankenstein's creation,
depicted as the Hierophant. Given the story, Calabas,
was a great choice for the card. Various elements added,
contribute well to the piece.

"The High Priestess"
by :iconjhutter:

The muted tones give this work much of the atmosphere
for the theme. I like too the model chosen.
Elements all, blended well.

"Three of Swords"
by :iconkimmiekrazy:

This tarot card can be difficult to work with, to create
something unusual that one hasn't seen many times over.
The artist has done an excellent job of imagining a different
take that is in keeping with both the theme of the challenge
AND the imagery that is indicative of the card.

Winners, watch your message box for info on your exclusive stock prize.
THANKS to all who played!

I'm so confused!

I've been so occupied that I didn't notice that this one had been posted yet!

Not only that, but the journal at MT all about it went missing. So I'll pimp it again tomorrow. I have too many things on my mind i right now and can't stop to do anything else.

Love you two!
