New Challenge- Maiden of Colors

Hello Castle Folk...

In my part of the world it has turned to lovely Spring with colors of the rainbow EVERYWHERE. Some here are experiencing a gloriously colored Autumn or wonderful Winter, maybe a spectacularly colored Summer. The focus of this challenge will be two-fold: colors and the Maiden of that season as you envision her. ALSO, please note that this challenge is being held at BOTH castle groups which means if you want to double the chances to win prizes-you can enter your artwork to BOTH groups.   If you're not a member of NOW would be a great time to join. Here are the details:

Your work MUST feature at least ONE model
You MUST make your artwork focus on color as well as the model
The season you choose, must bear the colors associated with that season, for example Autumn:reds, oranges, yellows and browns and so on
You MUST note in your description which season you are illustrating, failure to do so will affect whether your image will be considered for prizes
For a challenge like this one, it will be easy to go "easy." Think outside of the box, seek out a clever concept rather than giving us what has become overdone.

Artwork must be a new image and multiple submissions acceptable
Media is WIDE OPEN, options for type of media include collage, traditional media, digital.
Challenge ends on May 1 2017 at midnight PST (the clock on the home page never seems to work to show that it's not noon ) Otherwise known as "May Day"
You MUST include our group icon and the challenge theme in your description, while we MAY accept the piece, it will not be considered for prizes.
Proper credit to your stock providers must be given. If the stock is your own, please comment in the artist description that personal stock has been used to avoid confusion.
